# Overview

## What is a Roll Up Vehicle?

A Roll Up Vehicle® (RUV), invented by AngelList, is a special type of SPV (special purpose vehicle) that makes an investment in a company. RUVs provide a way for founders to efficiently allow investors into a financing round without incurring expensive administrative fees or making the company’s cap table more complicated for every investor that completes an investment.
